Birds of the World: Wildlife & Bird Photography

Bird photography is equal parts patience, fieldcraft, and timing. This gallery brings together my favorite avian images, from songbirds and raptors to waterfowl, captured in natural light and natural settings. Each frame is a study in behavior, color, and the brief windows when a bird holds still long enough to tell its story.

This gallery also includes my wood duck images, photographed on local ponds and wetlands. If you want the technical side, read my post on wildlife shooting with the Sony 200-600mm.
